The Sprint Canoe & Kayak Club at Georgia Tech (GTKayak) is a student-led Campus Recreation Sport Club. They train to compete in both sprint and marathon flatwater kayak events across the country, culminating at the USACK Collegiate Sprint Kayak National Championships each year in May.
Founded by Ty Hagler in the Fall of 2000, GTKayak was the first collegiate club of its kind in the nation. It is also the largest and longest running collegiate sprint canoe/kayak club in the nation. GTKayak currently holds the most USACK Collegiate National Championships titles and has been undefeated since 2006.
